Blog Tour and Review: Mother's Cookies

I love seeing the familiar bags of  Mother's Cookies on market shelves when I go grocery shopping because they bring back fond childhood memories. Growing up my favorite cookies had to be the pink Circus Animal Cookies. The white cookies were good too, but those cute animal cookies with pink icing and sprinkles were the best! Now that I am all grown up, I am all about their other varieties as well, like the Chocolate Chip cookies. Yum!

Did you realize that Mother's Cookies had to close their doors in 2008 due to the economy? But thankfully the familiar cookies were back on shelves in 2009. And not only are they back, they Mother's is expanding as well....moms in Kansas City and the midwest will be enjoying these cookies now too!

As part of a blog tour with Mom Central, we received two bags of Mother's Circus Animal Cookies to enjoy. My daughter was delighted when she came home from school and saw the packages of cookies on the counter. She is lucky to be one of those that does not have much of a sweet tooth (unlike her mother,) so I was surprised to see her immediately grab some of the cookies and munch away. She has made me promise to continue buying these particular cookies from now on and has declared them to be her 'favorite' cookies ever. High praise from a 13 year old.

Do you remember Mother's Cookies, and all their delicious flavors?  My top picks would have to be the Circus Animals, Chocolate Chip, Double Fudge and  the English Tea.

And one more bit of good news for my fellow cookie lovers-- you can find Mother's Cookies no matter where you live by going to Amazon.com. So if these wonderful treats are not on your grocery store shelves...remember they are just a click away!

"I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Mother’s Cookies and received two bags of cookies and a $20 Amazon gift certificate to facilitate my review.”
