Alphabeasts: Snuggle and Learn!

Alphabeasts!

Alphabeasts are cuddly plush toys that bring educational fun with them as well as a lot of personality. We recently were sent several Alphabeasts to review, much to the delight of my two monster-loving munchkin boys! I think that the biggest draw right off the bat for my boys is the adorable monster-like appeal of these plush toys. There is something all kids seem to like about monsters that are protective yet loving and cuddly, and these guys certainly fit that bill!

We quickly discovered that not only are these adorable characters soft and fun to cuddle, they make awesome pillows! Yep, my boys decided they would make their new friends pillow buddies as well! They are that soft....believe me!

Each Alphabeast has a letter of the alphabet on them. This is a great way for little ones to learn their ABC's and become familiar with upper and lowercase letters as well. Of course, when you have a collection of Alphabeasts, spelling words becomes a whole new fun game!

There is a complete background story that comes with these plush characters which makes kids connect with them even more, and encourages little ones to use their imaginations as they create story lines and scenarios for their new friends:

The Alphabeasts collection includes a boxed set of sturdy alphabet board books which I can see being a wonderful present, along with a cute Alphabeast of course, for toddlers!

There are 26 Alphabeasts in all, each with a letter of the alphabet, and each with a unique personality and power all it's own. They are available on the website for $20 each.

As for my munchkin boys, they give their new pals two thumbs up!

Zippies: Pals That Hang Around!

My boys and I were recently sent Zippies: Pals That Hang Around to review. These cute name tag guys are perfect to attach to backpacks, water bottles, zippers, and really, almost anything! You write emergency information on one side of the Zippy, and the other side sports the face of an adorable character.

My boys loved them. My six year old immediately put on on his backpack while my four year old decided to hang one from his jeans belt loop. When my son returned home from school, he proudly announced that 'all the kids now wanted a Zippie for their backpacks!' He was delighted in the fact that he brought something new and cool to school!

What is so great about these ID tags is that kids love them, they are cool and trade-able (such a big plus!) and parents can feel better about knowing important information is within reach if needed. But also important is the fact that these cute little tags can help prevent kids from spreading colds and coughs as well. I personally like the idea of attaching Zippies to water bottles to help prevent germs from spreading around! Not to mention it helps prevent arguments between the kids too!
