Have you heard about Spartan Race yet? This revolutionary new way to get fit challenges you to race in worldwide obstacle courses - you will find yourself running through mud and trails and having the challenge of your life!

There are many different obstacle course races offered by Spartan Race, from beginner mud trails with 3+ miles and up to 10 obstacles to the truly experienced courses that challenge you with 40+ miles of endurance racing. I would absolutely, definitely need to join as a beginner.

And these are not just the typical hard-core events that we might tend to think of as a 'men's sports.' Spartan is unique in that they offer a kid's race, as well as a women's network with Spartan Chicked - this race promotes family, community and overcoming obstacles together. Not to say that these events are easy, because they are not, Every event will require dedication, hard work and self-discipline.

Spartan Race has a simple goal... to get you (and your hubby and kids!) off the couch, and get you healthy and fit with one of the toughest endurance event days that will give you the adrenalin rush of your life.
If you are coming up with the excuse that these races cannot be anywhere near where you live, you need to know that races are held all over the globe. Literally. You can find events near you by  checking out the Events page for details on our full race schedule. IF you do not see a race in your area, click on the map at the top and request it with the "Click To Demand It" pop-up!

If you have been looking for something, anything, to get you motivated to improve your health, energy and outlook on life, this might just be it. Are you up for the challenge?

  1. That's one of the reason why participants in a race event joined because they want to be fit and challenged. That's a great challenge to have, thanks for sharing this to us. Looking forward always for more updates.
