Drink Your Spinach {In This Banana Spinach Smoothie Recipe!}


Everyone could use a little spinach in their diets {okay, make thata lotof spinach.} I don't know about you, but I never have liked the taste of spinach. And I am not very good at incorporating this ultra healthy veggie into meals, with the one exception of Lasagna.

I do make a pretty mean spinach lasagna, if I say so myself.

This smoothie recipe uses spinach - which is a great thing for us. Even better is that this recipe also uses bananas and pineapple - which help hide the spinach flavor (for those of us who are a bit squeamish about spinach.)

Banana - Spinach Smoothie Recipe

What you will need:

1 cup low-fat or non-fat milk (if you like Almond milk, you should use it because it will give this smoothie extra sweetness!)

1 1/2 cups baby spinach  1 banana, peeled 3/4 pineapple - cut into very small pieces.

To Make:

Pour milk into blender and add spinach. Blend for a few seconds.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until smooth.

Drink and Enjoy!
