EyeBuy Direct Review and Giveaway!

PhotobucketThanks to the Family Review Network, I was recently given the opportunity to review EyeBuy Direct--a very customer-friendly eye wear website.

Forbes magazine recently dubbed EyeBuyDirect as "an efficient and easy-to-use prescription eyeglasses site, that provides fashionable, quality eyeglass frames and prescription lenses starting at only $7.95; significantly lower than the leading eyeglass chains".

I do not wear glasses (yet!), but my hubby certainly does. He is so lost without his glasses on that we keep several pairs around the house for him. So I was more than happy to visit EyeBuy Direct and order the hubbs a new pair of glasses!

The selection is unbelievable. We spent a couple of nights going through all the possibilities before a decision was made. They have the coolest feature on their website which allows you to upload your own picture, and "try on frames" virtually. I think it took us two nights to pick out a pair just because it was so fun playing around with the virtual option!

But ultimately hubby decided which frames he liked best, and suited his oh-so handsome face (if I do say so myself, hehe), and then all we had to do was enter his prescription and we were done. His new glasses arrived (nice and safe in their packaging) in just about a week. Very awesome. They came with their own case and cleaning cloth as well--so cool!

I waited anxiously all day for hubby to come home and try on his glasses-- I was like a kid with a big old grin when he came in. The glasses fit perfectly (whew!) and looked great. The quality is very impressive, and the hubbs has worn them everyday since! He has the bifocal type lens, as he needs glasses for just about everything--driving, reading, even watching tv. He ordered the lens where you cannot see the line in the lens, and he is sooo happy he did. His other glasses do not have that feature, which explains why these have become his favorite pair! The frames are very stylish, but light and comfy. The glasses look great and feel great, and we are both delighted.

And Guess What??
