Strange sad Friday after yesterday's tragic death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. So here is my Aloha Friday question (if you haven;t heard of Aloha Friday...it is hosted by Kailini at An Island Life!)


What Is Your Favorite Michael Jackson Song, OR, did you ever try to get that awesome Farrah hair style (be honest now, hehe!)


My answer: No, I never tried for the hair,,,knew there was no point with my hair. But I did envy Farrah's glorious mane, and I had many friends that did try to copy her hairstyle.

Michael Jackson....sigh. So many songs I love of his, but I guess my all time favorite would be "I'll Be There." Sniff.

Small Talk Six

Over on Mom Dot they are having their Small Talk Meme going and today the topic is 6 places you would like to travel to if you had someone trustworthy to watch your children and pets.

Hmmm. This is actually a tough one for me because actually I am a homebody sort of gal, hehe. I like sleeping in my own bed, and just have never been one for traveling much. Plus, I HATE FLYING!! So afraid of flying I am neurotic almost about it. Now if you are giggling--stop it!!! LOL, but I guess I can come up with six places we could drive to (or fly if I were totally drunk or on tranquilizers!)

So here's my list:

1. Hawaii (can you drive there? No? Excuse me while I go get some Tequila!)
2. San Fransisco (Now I can drive there. May take a day, but that is no problem!!)
3. Oregon (don't ask me why)
4. Las Vegas (fun!)
5. Monterey/Carmel
6. Seattle (I like rain!)

Boring six, I know. But, hey. I am just a simple boring girl at heart.

"Not Me! Monday"

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

So I had a pretty good week, tehee, and stayed pretty much true to my 'Perfect' self. As examples of my perfection this past week, I share with you all:

I so did not tell hubby the market was out of his favorite olives so that I could instead buy a bottle of wine ( which of course, if I had, I would have shared with hubby anyway!).

I did not (!!) decide that a picture my hubby's ex-wife did decide he needed somehow and so mailed it to him was totally rude and thus "disposed" of said picture! (but do you not agree that I would have been justified, if I were to have done that, which of course I did not?!).

My Goodness...No, I would not and so did not, tell my hubby that the picture not in question did not arrive in our mail last week--and I did not get angry, jealous, petty, or evil, as I calmly told him that I would keep an eye out for that picture (Yea-right!) (Now you begin to understand about the olives and the wine.....??)

N0...I did not (me????) pretend to be asleep a few nights last week before my hubby came to bed, I mean, seriously, why would I do that????

No, I will not say just how I did not dispose of a certain picture last week. No,I will not disclose if I really would have shared that bottle of wine if I had bought it instead of hubby's requested olives. And no, sadly I cannot share the choice words that I did not share with my silly hubby last week!
