She is gorgeous (as all moms know their kids are!) but she constantly stresses out over the acne she gets.
Let me first say this - her acne is not all that bad. But to her, every new pimple is a reason to hide under her pillow. I am so sure I was not like that as a teenager. I think she gets this drama stuff from her father.
Anyway, because she is a teenage girl, we already pretty much live at the local drugstore. Since she and her friends are constantly checking out the latest acne product reviews, we pretty much never get out of the store without buying a new face wash/pore cleanser/acne ointment that promises to get rid of acne.
So between her excitement to try the laser acne treatment and my excitement at saving some money on all those drugstore purchases, it was a definite yes on both our parts when she was given the opportunity to try the blue light for acne treatment.
My daughter will use the Tria Blue Light for 4 weeks. I will be updating on how things go - which will hopefully be great!
So by now I am sure you are asking just what is this blue light therapy is all about anyway. It is pretty exciting, because it is so easy to use and gives you the opportunity to use the blue light acne treatment at home!
Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light is a revolutionary, FDA-cleared hand-held device for at-home use that delivers the same therapeutic power of blue light used by dermatologists to treat breakouts deep within the skin.
In clinical studies, consumers saw 70% acne reduction in just two weeks, 93% noticed a smoother complexion in four weeks and 100% said skin looked healthier and more radiant in four weeks.
My daughter will be doing the treatments 2x a day for 2 1/2 minutes each time. We are both so excited to see how this works out. Look for my update in a few weeks!
In the meantime, you can learn all about the Tria Blue Light at www.TriaBeauty.com.
