Rhubarb Twists Healthy Kids Snack Idea, Granola and berries frozen bark healthy kids snack idea

If moms (and dads) were asked what keeps them busy every day when it comes to their kids, my guess is keeping kids happy and fed.

Just try counting how many times a day you hear "Mom, I'm HUNGRY!"

So having easy healthy low-sugar snacks for kids, especially for kids who are picky eaters, is kind of a challenge at times.

My kids love to search and destroy the pantry in their quest for snacks - at all hours of the day and night,. They are both in high school and they eat ALL The TIME.

And can I just mention that finding so-called popular teenage snacks that they approve of is not for the faint of heart?

On a side note: Am I a bad mom because I roll my eyes every time I hear the pantry door and refrigerator doors open and repeatedly close (like they are hoping that each time they check that new snacks will have miraculously appeared??)

And I confess to having too many store-bought snacks in our house, but we also try to come up with healthy snacks to make at home for the boys as well. You know, to help balance out snacking just a bit.

These easy snack recipes are lower in sugar than most store-bought snacks and are made with healthy nutritious ingredients. But most importantly, they are really yummy tasty snacks for fussy eaters that are easy to make and kids will love them!
