TGIF! Because it's Friday and because it's fun, (and I am lazy today...shhh...) I am joining in "Aloha Friday" hosted by Kailini over at An Island Life.

So without further ado, here is my question :

What annoying habit of your spouse, best friend or significant person, would you love to change if you could?

For me, it is a toss up between the hubby tossing his dirty socks wherever he feels fit, and his snoring (but I suppose snoring doesn't really count as a habit per se, does it?)

So my question is:

Can you name one thing your kids have taught you to appreciate that you would never have on your own?

For me, bugs. Yep, bugs. My munchkin boys are fascinated with bugs....they like to watch them move along the ground, and wonder where the bug has come from, where it might be headed, and if it has a little buggy family waiting for it somewhere. Now, I go out of my way to not step on any errant bug out for a walk, LOL. They just might be on their way home after a hard day at work!

If You Were Blowing Out Candles On Your Birthday Cake Today, What Three Wishes Would You Be Making?


Me....and yea, today is my birthday, LOL...thus the question. And I am so not telling you my age!! But back to the question at hand:

1. To celebrate my birthday next year with my kids again

2. Financial relief (for us all...but mainly me, since it's my B-Day, you know! )

3. Health and Safety for my kids. Always.

Now if I had extra wishes...hmmm.....maybe a birthday visit from Johnny Depp, a shopping spree paid for by some rich anonymous donor, a new car (any model...I'm not picky!), getting to go to BlogHer, and oh yea, a younger face and body without surgery. Hehe. Did I ever mention that I can be materialistic??

If you could buy one thing today, just for you, and money was no problem, what would you buy yourself?

I actually had a hard time answering my own question. I almost always buy for the kiddos and even the hubby before I buy for me...so I really had to stop and think what I would get. My answer.... still thinking.....figures I would stump myself! When I figure it out...I will post it asap, promise!!

Strange sad Friday after yesterday's tragic death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. So here is my Aloha Friday question (if you haven;t heard of Aloha Friday...it is hosted by Kailini at An Island Life!)


What Is Your Favorite Michael Jackson Song, OR, did you ever try to get that awesome Farrah hair style (be honest now, hehe!)


My answer: No, I never tried for the hair,,,knew there was no point with my hair. But I did envy Farrah's glorious mane, and I had many friends that did try to copy her hairstyle.

Michael Jackson....sigh. So many songs I love of his, but I guess my all time favorite would be "I'll Be There." Sniff.
